A successful company is seeking a Controller through Robert Half to take responsibility for its accounting and clerical department. The permanent Controller position is situated in the Woodinville, Washington area. You might be a good fit for this position if you can plan and direct all accounting operational functions, handle the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements, evaluate accounting and internal control systems, and lead departmental staff. If your ideal job offers you exceptional compensation and benefits and potential for career growth, this is a good fit!Your responsibilities- Perform duties beyond formal job responsibilities- Prepare cash-flow reports, projecting cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, daily cash management- Handle monthly and annual close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations & G/L analysis- Work closely with executive team and partners to ensure that firm-wide operation is efficient and effective- Give financial reports to executive committee and partners each month- Oversee the activities of the finance department, such as accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll- Manage the production of and monthly monitoring of the annual budget and forecasts- Ensure deliverables of self and team meet client expectations- Time monthly billing and other cash management techniques to make sure cash collection is punctual- Advance Finance Department initiatives, such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as needed, with research, planning and implementation- Assess, execute and improve policies, procedures, controls and most methodologiesThe salary range for this position is $90,000 to $105,000 bonus.Benefits:M/D/V 100% paid by employer for employee401kProfit sharing80 hours PTO8 paid holidays40 hour sick leave
