Controller

Description

We are looking for a skilled Controller to join our team in GROVE CITY, Pennsylvania. This role is integral to our non-profit organization, where you'll be based on-site and report directly to the CFO. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and manage a team of three direct reports. Proficiency with MS Dynamics and a minimum of 10 years of experience are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the organization's financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and accounting functions
• Utilize MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and other Accounting Software Systems for financial management and reporting
• Direct the management of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions to ensure efficient operations
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with DCAA and other regulatory requirements
• Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions for managing and integrating the organization's financial data
• Oversee the preparation of financial reports and present findings and recommendations to the CFO
• Manage a team of three, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to support their career growth
• Develop and implement budget processes and ensure all financial operations align with the organization's goals
• Ensure adherence to Fund Accounting principles specific to non-profit organizations
• Leverage ADP - Financial Services for efficient payroll management and other financial services.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Extensive experience in the role of Controller, with a minimum of 10 years in a similar position.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services.
• Solid knowledge of DCAA and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning.
• Familiarity with ERP Solutions and fundamental Accounting Functions.
• Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Experience in Auditing and Budget Processes.
• Proficient in using MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Experience in Fund Accounting - Non-Profit.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Relevant certification or degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field is required.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines.
• Proven track record in financial project management.
