This Credit and Collections Manager has accountability for setting delinquency goals and ensuring the team performance the activities necessary to meet them.
Other duties for the Credit and Collections Manager include but are not limited to:
- Advise company leadership on the best course of action for credit applications.
- Design processes to improve cash flow and reduce receivables.
- Negotiate the collection of past-due accounts.
- Oversee support and develop our team of Accounts Receivable Collectors.
- Recommend changes to quicken our credit review process while maintaining the highest level of quality review.
- Develop procedures to monitor credit on an ongoing basis across our existing customer portfolio.
The ideal Credit and Collections Manager candidate will have 5 years of accounts receivable, credit, and collections experience in a fast paced office environment. Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, or related degree is required
Other requirements for the Collections Manager position include and are not limited to:
- Previous management experience required.
- B2B Collections experience required.
- Someone with a strong ability to make decisive, impactful decisions.
- Excellent Communications Skills
- Ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines
