What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Scientist position at Robert Half?
Robert Half is partnering with a company in Palo Alto seeking a Data Scientist with machine learning experience to join their growing team! This is truly a multifaceted role, one that will span leading the science team to strategizing and implementing ways to improve the company's market share. Additionally, you’ll be very closely involved with our ML/AI team, figuring out how to leverage existing content to best train our artificial intelligence system.
In leading the science team, you’ll help them navigate obstacles that inevitably pop up in the many complex projects they work on. You’ll also ensure the stellar quality of work by providing guidance in the form of expertise and best practices.
Another critical part of this role is driving up the company's market share. You will constantly need to stay on top of changing consumer habits and the competitive landscape–who’s doing what, what’s working, what’s not, what way is the market moving–so you can ensure that the projects the science team work on best reflect the market’s appetite at any given moment.
Finally, you’ll have to help the content team and content curation agencies execute on the product roadmap. This will make up the majority of the content team’s work and will require close collaboration with our ML/AI team. You’ll need to troubleshoot and create processes/best practices as you go, guiding the science team as they navigate this ambiguous (but exciting!) new terrain.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
