Robert Half is actively in need of a Desktop Support Analyst to support local and field users in a growing company in the Manufacturing client in Grafton, WI. You will thrive at solving problems in a dynamic and rapidly-changing work environment as a Desktop Support Analyst. Due to this Desktop Support Analyst role having a large amount of visibility within the company, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the department and organization. This Desktop Support Analyst role is a contract to hire opportunity.


Your responsibilities in this role


- Contribute IT support for productivity software, operating systems, and a variety of other applications used internally


- Spot recurring technical issues and deploy solutions to address the root of the problems


- Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues


- Respond and follow up on technical help tickets submitted via phone, email, and walk-ups



Requirements

- Experience with Microsoft Office 365

- Windows Workstation experience

- Service Desk Tickets experience

- Desktop Imaging experience

- Deep understanding of Desktop Hardware

- Understanding of basic networking concepts

- Prior experience with IT support ticketing systems

- Experience in user administration and bug fixing in a client server environment

- Background in installing and configuring operating systems, networked and local printers, and business applications

- Ability to recognize, evaluate, and resolve problems effectively

- 1 years of prior experience
