- Manages planning, budgeting, selection, configuration, and installation of new technology, including desktops, laptops, iPads, voice, data, video communications, servers, and cloud applications. Conducts troubleshooting and takes corrective action as needed.
- Collaborates with other departments to set technology goals.
- Supervises and oversees IT staff.
- Incorporates or procures, implements, tests and maintains technology measures to uphold information security and cybersecurity policies including protection against unauthorized access, data breaches, malware, and other potential threats to data and systems.
- Proposes IT Department operating and budget needs to the Director.
- Outlines purchases of technology equipment and software for all locations and fosters relationships with IT goods/services providers.
- Manages work of IT subcontractors or vendors, including vendor contracts and relationships.
- Oversees all IT-related projects as the Project Manager, including scheduling, allocating resources, budgeting, engaging with project stakeholders, and preparing status reports.
- Compiles project status, department budget, and department performance reports for supervisor, prepares accompanying presentations as required.
- Evaluates departmental and user training needs, proposing and organizing training programs as appropriate for individual or group needs.
- Maintains current inventory of all technology equipment, software, and license agreements.
- Assists in establishing and testing disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
