Leadership and People/Department Management
-Lead, motivate and effectively manage a growing team of technology professionals responsible for providing efficient and effective technical support service
-Set up direct reports to do their best work by focusing on coaching through regular, timely feedback and appreciative inquiry, regular 1:1s, goal setting and performance reviews
-Actively model and encourage behaviors and practices that uphold and advance client values and organizational imperatives
-Plan and execute short-term and long-term projects with direct reports
-Manage relationship with and deliverables from external managed service providers (MSP)
-Model and support cross-departmental collaboration through excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Create technology budget and cost-saving measures
Technology Strategy and Planning
-Develops and maintains a technology strategy and plan that incorporates emerging technology trends and practices that would benefit the organization.
-Build cohesive, long-term work plan for multi-year goals and projects across multiple system integration
-Oversees data governance and data analytics to ensure the effective management and use of data to drive business decisions. Ensures that enterprise applications are integrated to eliminate and/or minimize manual duplicative entries or imports and exports.
-Collaborates with staff and partners to develop business and functional requirements and processes to manage applications to ensure they meet requirements and comply with policies (e.g., security and privacy). Coordinates testing of new applications and upgrades.
-Provides oversight and planning of enterprise-level system(s) to ensure they are regularly optimized to meet the organizational vision for technology and strategic and operational objectives.
-Take feedback and propose medium- and long-term technology implementation plans to improve staff and site support
-Identify and anticipate reporting and metrics which uncover opportunities for improvement in client’s processes and operations
Systems Administration
-Manages the IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technical support and ensures compliance with organization policies and applicable regulations.
-In collaboration with the VP of Operations, develops and maintains a business continuity and disaster recovery plan.
-In collaboration with the Systems Administrator, maintain inventory of computer, networking and all other IT-related support equipment, including setup, repair, and deployment of laptops and server hardware
-Maintain a thorough understanding of Active Directory/Exchange management of users, computers and groups
-Update operating systems and software, manage licensing across many platforms, and monitor servers and resource usage.
Other Responsibilities
-Research and coordinate department specific software requests
-Develops and coordinates user training in new systems
-Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements to ensure the successful delivery of IT projects and services.
Salary : $130,000 - $145,000
