Interactive Developer/Emails
We are seeking a talented, Interactive Developer to join our Interactive Team in the Creative Studio department. You will be crucial in shaping and maintaining our brand's high-quality presence in email marketing. This position involves working on the concept development and buildout of emails, animations and more for National campaigns and divisional needs by managing all aspects of design, testing, quality assurance, and delivery. The position requires an ability to conceptualize and build high-quality design by being multi-task oriented, self-sufficient, dependable, coping under pressure, maintaining good judgment, being eager to learn and having a professional, supportive attitude.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to design in InDesign and program/test eMarketing in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and create files for digital media projects such as National and Regional campaigns.
- Utilize AMPScript to dynamically personalize email content, including images, body copy, CTAs, and sender profiles.
- Possess a high level of understanding of data relationships and the strategic use of data fields in email marketing, enabling the development of highly targeted and personalized campaigns based on customer behavior, preferences, and engagement history.
- Demonstrates exceptional skills in email development, crafting highly responsive, mobile-friendly designs that incorporate cutting-edge techniques to ensure optimal engagement and performance across all devices and platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and industry standards.
- Work closely with Design Manager, Production Manager, Developers, and the Design/Marketing team, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of files prepared in multiple formats for web and mobile; assure adherence to best practices and industry standards for digital production.
- Review the project for accuracy and functionality, ensuring it agrees with the team’s vision and overall company branding.
- Stay current with design/programming trends, tools, and techniques, incorporating innovative approaches to enhance project outcomes.
- Maintain a well-organized project management system, including file management, version control, and documentation of design processes.
EDUCATION AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Five (5) years of professional experience in interactive design. Bachelor of Arts degree preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in HTML / HTML5 / CSS / AMPScript / SQL / JavaScript plus Dreamweaver and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications: InDesign; Photoshop; Illustrator; Acrobat; After Effects.
- Proficiency in Canva, Airtable, Microsoft Office, and other essential content creation and workflow tools. These tools will be used actively in daily operations to ensure effective management and execution of graphic design tasks.
- Experience in the programming and production of email communications and at least 5 years of related work experience producing web-based products and interactive materials.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to relate technical specifications and ideas in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities, plus meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude.
- Good design sense and ability to follow established creative styles; detail-oriented, methodical work style with strong communication skills.
- Receptive of constructive feedback.
- Able to cope under pressure to meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude and high level of customer service.
- Maintain strong working relationships with co-workers and supervisors.
- Must possess initiative and be highly motivated.
Contract Talent The salary range for this position is 33/hr to 38/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
