What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Coordinator position at Robert Half?
Robert Half is seeking an Event Coordinator for one of our St Louis, MO clients. This is a long-term full-time engagement working 40 hours per week onsite. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting both in person and virtual corporate events and tradeshows.
Required Experience:
- 3-5 years experience in a marketing events or events team role
- Experience in writing invitations, email, and coordination with creative time and managing timeslines
- Experience with client relationship management systems, email marketing systems
- Built event reports and manage registration and attendance data
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Coordinate vendors, resource, venues, and inventory for events
- Set up and tear down events and onsite coordination for events including AV
- Schedule and monitor online or virtual events
- Other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2-5 years of event planning and execution
Computer and Software Skills:
• Experience with virtual event software such as Webex, Zoom, etc.
• Microsoft Office suite
• Google suite
• Salesforce experience preferred
