We are searching for a diligent and meticulous Accounting Clerk to join our team in Los Angeles, California. This role focuses on assisting with financial tasks within a non-profit organization, primarily dealing with data entry, Microsoft Excel, and applying accounting principles. The Accounting Clerk will work closely with the Finance Director to track expenditures across different programs for the organization by compiling data and creating spreadsheets. This position offers an on-site, short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities:• Assist the Finance Director in creating Excel spreadsheets for budgeting purposes.• Track expenditures across various programs within the organization.• Compile and analyze financial data.• Conduct data entry tasks with accuracy and precision.• Maintain and update financial records.• Adhere to accounting principles in all financial tasks.• Resolve financial inquiries and issues.• Monitor and manage customer credit applications.• Maintain customer credit records in an organized manner.• Take necessary actions to collect delinquent payments.
