Finance Manager

This role's duties will require planning and directing all accounting operational functions, handling the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements, evaluating accounting and internal control systems, and leading departmental staff. This is a great opportunity for exceptional compensation, benefits and potential for career growth.Key responsibilities- Manage the creation of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor them on a monthly basis- Research, plan and implement Finance Department initiatives including software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as needed- Manage monthly and annual close of income statement and balance sheet, the reconciliations of accounts, and G/L analysis- Assess, execute and streamline policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies- Present monthly financial reports to executive committee and partners- Produce cash-flow reports, calculating cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, and manage daily cash- Drive the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques to ensure the timely cash collection- Collaborate with executive team and partners to support efficient and effective firm-wide operation- Respond on items beyond formal job responsibilities- Review deliverables of self and team to align with client expectations- Oversee the activities of the finance department, such as accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll
