Compensation: $36.10 to $41.80 hourly

Some of your responsibilities in this role include running financial modeling on a number of financial products and measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans. You will be charged with advising management on the allocation of resources to accomplish objectives in a timely manner and preparing reports for management. As a team member, you will serve as a key business partner in areas like forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. This Financial Analyst role, which is a long-term contract / temporary to hire employment opportunity, is based in the Saint Paul, Minnesota, area. What you get to do every single day
- Research performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities
- Monitor monthly and quarterly performance by comparison of actuals versus expectations and enable business partners to handle their resources effectively
- Work next to cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to execute against plans
- Produce and manage forecasting reports
- Empower effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support
- Work with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close process
- Work with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization
- Understand and explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending
- Keep up weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings and P& L forecasting
- Ideal candidate would have an adaptable nature and experience dealing with vast amounts of information while exceeding expectations
- Power monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required
