Financial Analyst

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Financial Analyst located in southern Connecticut. The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing financial data, working with commission statements, and using Microsoft Excel to manage and track compensation commissions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data to support decision-making processes
• Handle commission statements and ensure accuracy in reports
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage and track compensation - commissions
• Collaborate with various teams to understand the financial needs of the business
• Develop financial models to support valuation, planning, and forecasting
• Aid in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Conduct financial analysis and prepare detailed financial reports and statements
• Provide insightful information and expectations to senior management to aid in long-term and short-term decision making
• Research economic progressions to assist the company's financial planning
• Perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
