The Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in managing the financial operations of our company, with a particular focus on our subscription services. This individual will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in finance within the media industry and a strong understanding of subscription-based revenue models. Key Responsibilities:Financial Planning and AnalysisDevelop and manage annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights to senior management.Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.Subscription Revenue Management:Oversee the financial aspects of subscription services, including revenue recognition and billing processes.Monitor subscription metrics and analyze their impact on overall financial performance.Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to optimize pricing strategies and subscriber acquisition efforts.Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.Coordinate month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliation and analysis of accounts.Prepare and present financial statements and reports to senior leadership.Budgeting & Cost Control:Monitor and control expenses to ensure alignment with budgetary constraints.Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to improve financial efficiency.Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations for corrective actions.Internal Controls & Compliance:Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.Support internal and external audits as required.Team Leadership:Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.Provide guidance and support for professional development and growth within the team.
