We are looking for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in West Chester. The selected candidate will play a key role in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. This role involves working closely with our team to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable, and manage invoices and tax payments.
Responsibilities
- Handle full cycle accounting duties
- Code and enter vendor expense invoices
- Process accounts receivable and invoice clients and customers
- Prepare bank deposits
- Ensure accuracy in the general ledger
- Process employee time sheets and payroll
- Prepare monthly and quarterly tax returns
- Conduct bank reconciliations and record all transactions
- Use Microsoft Excel to create detailed financial reports and overviews
- Work with the team to manage company financial processes, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and bank reconciliations
- Use skills in construction accounting and billing functions to ensure all financial data is properly recorded and organized.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to perform all accounting functions effectively
- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Expertise in Bank Reconciliations
- Familiarity with Billing Functions
- Knowledge of Construction Accounting
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle pressure
- Professionalism and ethical behavior
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to accounting and finance.
