Lead the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
Manage IT resources effectively, including budgeting, staffing, and vendor relationships.
Provide leadership and guidance to the IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Evaluate emerging technologies and trends, recommending solutions that enhance efficiency, productivity, and competitiveness.
Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand their IT needs and priorities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to mitigate risks and ensure uninterrupted operations.
Communicate IT strategies, initiatives, and progress to senior management and key stakeholders.
Review and approve invoices from IT consultants, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements while overseeing their work.
Implement robust cybersecurity measures, including firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems, to safeguard sensitive data and protect against cyber threats, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of organizational information.
Requirements
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business or technology or equivalent.
A minimum of ten years of experience in IT management, with a proven track record of success in setting strategic direction and building IT infrastructure.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
Deep technical expertise across a range of IT domains, including networks, systems, applications, and security.
Experience in the infrastructure, transportation or public sector is desirable
