If you love Human Resources and you're looking for an engaging, new Generalist opportunity, Robert Half has the opportunity for you as a Human Resources Generalist. In this role, you will perform various HR duties, including managing employee relations, recruiting, conducting new hire orientation, and updating the employee handbook.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with other HR team members to oversee the hiring and onboarding process for new company employees

- Develop employee engagement plans, including budget approvals and management oversite

- Evaluate employee performance, including assisting with annual reviews, appraising pay scales, and coordinating disciplinary action (including terminations if necessary)

- Develop onboarding plans and train newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations

- Manage employee relations, including coordinating sensitive conversations and engaging employee

- Responsible for operations tasks for the HR department

- Manage digital and physical files for employees and their documents, including benefits, attendance records, and annual reviews

- Create official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary adjustments, updates to the employee handbook, leave of absences, and warning/termination letters

- Draft templates for HR documents, including the Employee Handbook

- Compare federal, state, and local laws to current internal policies and procedures

- Engage with other teams, including with upper management, employees, and third-party vendors

- Design & /or support a recruitment plan according to operational and business projections
