If you love Human Resources and you're looking for an exciting, new Generalist opportunity, Robert Half has the opportunity for you as a Human Resources Generalist. This role will involve various HR duties, including recruiting, conducting new hire orientation, updating the employee handbook, and managing employee relations.Your responsibilities- Collaborate with other members of the HR department to oversee the hiring and onboarding process for new company employees- Draft templates for HR documents, including the Employee Handbook- Collaborate with employees, upper management, and third-party vendors- Responsible for completing various tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department- Evaluate employee performance, including appraising pay scales, assisting with annual reviews, and coordinating disciplinary action (including terminations if necessary)- Manage digital and physical files for employees and their documents, including benefits, attendance records, and annual reviews- Differentiate local, state, and federal laws to current internal policies and procedures- Create onboarding plans and educate newly hired employees on internal procedures, HR policies, and regulations- Manage employee relations, which may include finding new ways to engage employees or coordinating sensitive conversations- Create & /or support a recruitment plan according to operational and business projections- Create official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary adjustments, updates to the employee handbook, leave of absences, and warning/termination letters- Develop employee engagement plans, including budget approvals and management oversite
