If you have a passion for Human Resources and you're looking for an exciting, new Generalist opportunity, Robert Half has the opportunity for you as a Human Resources Generalist. In this role, you will perform various HR duties, including managing employee relations, recruiting, conducting new hire orientation, and updating the employee handbook.Key responsibilities- Manage employee relations, including coordinating sensitive conversations and engaging employee- Maintain physical and digital files for employees and their documents, including benefits, attendance records, and annual reviews- Responsible for operations tasks for the HR department- Evaluate employee performance, including assisting with annual reviews, appraising pay scales, and coordinating disciplinary action (including terminations if necessary)- Develop templates for HR documents, including the Employee Handbook- Compare local, state, and federal laws to current internal policies and procedures- Develop official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary adjustments, updates to the employee handbook, leave of absences, and warning/termination letters- Work with other members of the HR department to oversee the hiring and onboarding process for new company employees- Develop onboarding plans and train newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations- Create employee engagement plans, including budget approvals and management oversite- Collaborate with upper management, employees, and third-party vendors- Develop a recruitment plan according to operational and business projections
