They will foster relationships with business partners offering help with employee relations, recruitment, training, and performance management.The role also includes responsibilities for recruiting and staffing, ensuring the timely posting of jobs and managing relationships with staffing companies. They will onboard new employees, maintaining communication throughout the process, providing orientation, and completing necessary paperwork.The candidate will ensure employees have access to essential company information and policies, assist with leadership training, and promote compliance. They will maintain employee records in HRIS, run reports, and process personnel records. The candidate is expected to act as a backup to the Payroll Administrator and be involved in the implementation of new systems to streamline HR processes.In terms of compliance, the candidate will assist with the reporting of injuries and safety incidents, maintain records and partner with EH& S on safety incident follow-ups, and ensure accurate regulation reporting. They will understand and maintain a lean culture within the department, apply lean tools for improvements, and perform other tasks as assigned.
