This role will involve performing various HR duties, including assisting with sourcing new talent, posting open requisitions, recruiting, new hire orientation, updates to the employee handbook, employee relations, in addition to various other HR functions. Responsibilities:
- Gatekeeper for their HR team by answering employees initial questions and being the first point of contact for visitors
- Advising internal employees on how to navigate their app and rest passwords
- Navigating the temporary workers by facilitating their needs on a daily basis
- Reporting, behavioral issues, terminations, and updating temporary workers information into their system
- Timekeeping and attendance tracking that must be uploaded into their system
- Communicating with agencies when they have openings
- Day to day administrative support like creating new personnel files, separating documents, e-verifying for certifications, updating temporary worker schedules
- Interacting with supervisors and managers and other departments
- Issuing login credentials and i9 verifications
- Answering 30-40 phone calls per day. A lot of these are sales calls that must be screened and directed to their website for more information.
- Let visitors in the secured building.
- Ad-hoc projects like ordering supplies, activating key cards, issuing replacement key cards, sorting the mail, managing the mailroom of manual files, taking pictures for badges, helping create new hire paperwork and orientation packets
- Occasional expense reporting and scheduling of flights
