HVAC Analyst

Robert Half is partnering with dynamic company at the forefront of the HVAC industry to fill a bid analyst opening. As a Bid Desk Analyst you will be responsible for confirming that each integrated job maintains a healthy margin while adhering to industry standards. Your primary focus will be on submitting HVAC quotes to clients.Key Responsibilities:Review and revise quotes submitted by contractors, adhering to standard pricing and protocols.Validate contractor payouts to ensure fairness and reasonableness for proposed repair/replace installations, including negotiation for non-standard items.Perform cost analysis for potential and existing quotes, evaluating profitability and identifying opportunities for improvement.Provide feedback to contractors when quotes require revision, ensuring they encompass the entire scope of work and meet client requirements.Review the accuracy of equipment and part selection for installations, ensuring they meet AHRI guidelines.Ensure that final quotes are comprehensive, accurate, and balanced to meet contractor and organizational objectives.Place orders through distribution outlets, including tracking, confirming delivery, equipment substitution, and handling returns and credits.Serve as a knowledgeable liaison during the quoting process, answering questions about equipment and part selection and system functionality.Collaborate across departments to exchange information, receive or provide direction, and work effectively as part of a team.Participate in additional projects/activities to support ongoing business needs.
