The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing month-end close procedures, and overseeing fixed asset processing and depreciation entries. This role is perfect for a highly organized individual with a firm grasp of account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger maintenance. Key Responsibilities:General Accounting: Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with accounting principles and company policies.Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure timely and accurate reporting to management and stakeholders.Cost Accounting: Track and analyze manufacturing costs, including materials, labor, and overhead. Assist in the calculation of standard costs and the evaluation of cost-saving opportunities.Inventory Management: Oversee inventory accounting processes, including valuation, reconciliation, and physical inventory counts. Ensure accuracy of inventory records and compliance with inventory control policies.Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations. Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors as needed.Audit Support: Coordinate and support internal and external audits, providing documentation and explanations as required.
