Legal Assistant
Our client, a full -service firm in Boulder, in Boulder has an immediate opening for a 3 plus years Legal Assistant who can support their attorneys in both litigation as well as transactional law. A qualified Legal Assistant candidate would have experience with the following: - Scheduling meetings, answering telephone calls, Legal word processing, Filings with the state court systems, Editing, proofreading, and filing various documents, including engagement letters, client correspondence, probate pleadings, estate planning documents (wills, trusts, powers of attorney), deeds, and more. - Preparing documents for execution and maintaining various databases. - Time entry, scheduling, contact with the client, and more. We are looking for someone with 5 years of experience in the legal field. Qualified candidates must be detailed, have strong proofing and editing skills. and top word processing skills. This is a full-time position and will require the employee to work in the Boulder office on a hybrid arrangement. - Drafting legal court documents, such as pleadings, motions, affidavits and subpoenas; transactional documents, such as trusts, wills, contracts and real estate leases; and closing documents- Organizing and tracking files for important transactions or case documents, including pleadings and voluminous discovery documents; creating and maintaining a case-management database
- Experience assisting lawyers in preparing for transactional closings, depositions, hearings, trials and conferences; completing many administrative tasks, including, working on individual cases or transactions
- Investigating the factual evidence of a transaction or case and preparing exhibits, charts and diagrams to display information
- Earlier work involving commercial real estate
- Previous experience working with real estate law
- Civil Litigation Experience experience required
- Practical knowledge of corporate law
- Comprehensive knowledge of Civil Litigation
- Wide ranging experience with real estate
- Quality experience with Corporate Legal
- Civil Litigation Law Firm experience
- Litigation experience
- Well-founded grasp of corporate
- Foundational knowledge in Complex Litigation
- Good understanding of title real estate
- General familiarity with corporate governance
- Proven knowledge of civil litigation
- 3 years of previous legal work experience and a dedication to integrity
- Conducting routine discovery
