Legal Billing Clerk

Robert Half is seeking a skilled Billing Clerk to join our client, a prestigious law firm located in the Denver Tech Center. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring accurate and timely billing for the firm's legal services.

Key Responsibilities:

·     Generate and process invoices for legal services provided by attorneys and legal professionals.

·     Maintain billing records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client billing guidelines.

·     Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to resolve billing discrepancies and answer client inquiries.

·     Prepare and distribute monthly billing statements and reports.

·     Perform data entry tasks related to time and expense entries.

·     Assist in the reconciliation of billing reports and financial statements.

·     Maintain confidentiality of client billing information and adhere to all privacy regulations.

·     Stay updated on industry best practices and billing software to improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

·     2 years of recent billing experience in a professional services setting (law firm, engineering, consulting, etc.).

·     Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in billing processes.

·     Proficiency in using billing software and Microsoft Office applications.

·     Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.

·     Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.

·     Highly organized and able to meet tight deadlines.

·     Polished and presentable, maintaining a professional appearance.

·     Reliable and committed to working a 5-day in-office schedule.
