Job Description
Legal manager needed for a growing legal department. The legal manager will work closely with the General Counsel and will handle a variety of responsibilities including:
- Assist the General Counsel on contract administration, corporate governance, corporate registration and documentation, litigation supervision, real estate management, lease abstracting, dispute resolution, distribution and archiving, legal research and new project implementation;
- Assist with administration of legal holds and litigation discovery and organization of litigation documentation;
- Research various areas of the law and provide guidance and memorandum regarding policies, procedures, and compliance issues on an as needed basis;
- Assist in contract management process;
- Entity annual filings for state and foreign jurisdiction;
- Assist in creation of corporate minute books, meeting materials and resolutions as needed;
- Exceptional communication skills that provide the ability to interact with all levels of the organization with a high customer service orientation
- Ability to take ownership of projects, writing and negotiating, planning and organizing
- Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently
