Robert Half is recruiting a Litigation Associate for our premier Sonoma County law firm client! This full-service business law firm has a very friendly work environment (some flexibility with telecommute too), excellent work-life balance, and modest annual billing requirement (below 1,700 hrs). The firm is looking for a mid-level associate with at least 3 years of civil litigation and trial advocacy experience.
Qualifications:
· Active member in good standing with the State Bar of California
· Skillful analysis and synthesis of diverse subject matter
· Superior drafting, writing, research, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail
· Strong work ethic that thrives in both independent and highly collaborative, fast-paced environments
· Extensive experience in all aspects of civil litigation, including trial preparation, discovery, motions, depositions, trial, and other court appearances.
· Demonstrated proficiency in oral advocacy on behalf of clients at hearings, mediation, trial, and arbitration.
· Effective and appropriate communicator with opposing counsel, clients, pro se parties, litigation team members, and the courts.
· Ability to make decisions, multi-task, prioritize, and follow through on numerous projects simultaneously.
· Ambitious/highly motivated, leadership skills, good strategic judgment, common sense, and ability to handle day-to-day demands and workflow
