Our reputable client is seeking a Marketing/Communications Manager to join our client in Troy Michigan. Are you a self-reliant, independent thinker who thrives when presented with challenges and combines strong digital communication experience with a proven ability to develop content for a variety of media outlets? This is an exciting role best suited for candidates with experience leading marketing projects and initiatives with little direction and can be proactive to come up with new ideas for the organization. This position reports directly to the CEO.
Responsibilities
- Manage all efforts and projects for marketing, communications, events, and digital media
- Consistently reinforce strategic talking points in all company communications
- Support and oversee content creation for marketing materials (collateral, newsletters, press releases, digital content and more)
- Develop and/or improve communications protocols, standards and guidelines to support the company brand and monitor its use for consistency
- Lead initiatives to identify and respond to customer and other stakeholder interests, expectations and concerns, including advocating for modified and new services to enhance the customer experience and grow the organization
- Govern all company communications to support the brand, including internet communications, social media, direct emails to customers, strategic and board communications, promotions, and marketing efforts
- Develop clear, consistent messaging and behavior consistent with the brand, and instill appreciation across the company
- Plan company events, organize details for events, and serve as a photographer and videographer for all events
