The Robert Half Healthcare Practice is working with a reputable healthcare group in the Indianapolis area to add a Medical Schedule to their team. The ideal candidate has excellent customer service skills, be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure. Hours for the position: Monday - Friday 8am-5pmResponsibilities for the position include the following:Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments as required.Answer patients' questions regarding basic medical tests and procedures.Provide instructions to patients to ensure that they are prepared for examinations and procedures.Confirm patient appointments.Verify patient insurance information and inform patients of any uncovered fees.Collect and organize patient demographic information.Maintain patient appointment schedules and calendars.Communicate with physicians and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient appointments.Follow up with patients to remind them of upcoming appointments and to confirm their attendance.
