Network Engineer - Infrastructure & Support

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our IT department and play a pivotal role in managing our network, compute, and storage infrastructure. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of these critical systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.

What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and high-performance network solutions.
• Maintain and troubleshoot existing network, compute, and storage infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-wide IT initiatives.
• Contribute to the development of best practices for network, compute, storage, and user access technologies.
• Manage and troubleshoot a wide range of network devices, including servers, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Administer and support essential network services like Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and WINS.
• Implement and manage backup and storage systems, ensuring data protection.
• Support and troubleshoot IP telephony systems and Voicemail.
• Document network configurations and create system documentation for future reference.
• Assist with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Provide technical expertise and support to internal teams (PC technicians, Help Desk, etc.)
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Five (5) years of experience in network and system administration.
• Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) certification or higher (preferred).
• Strong understanding of network protocols, technologies, and security principles.
• Experience with network troubleshooting tools and methodologies.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A willingness to learn and stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.
