Operations Manager

Description

We are searching for an Operations Manager to join our team in the manufacturing industry, located in Torrance, California. The role involves managing all order fulfillment and operations for North America, including customer service and working with large retailers. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Operations and will be part of a hybrid workplace, with 3-5 days in the office depending on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of customer service, logistics, and supply chain-related operations for North America
• Supervise a team of 7-10 direct reports, ensuring efficient and effective operations
• Utilize knowledge of EDI and D365 to optimize order fulfillment processes
• Maintain strong relationships with large retailers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Use Microsoft Excel for various accounting functions and data analysis
• Oversee compliance with industry and company standards across all operations
• Leverage knowledge of database and EO/IR systems to improve operational efficiency
• Apply networking and optimization skills to enhance operational performance
• Handle customer service inquiries and complaints, ensuring timely and effective resolution
• Monitor and manage banking operations related to customer transactions
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting functions and data analysi
  
  

Requirements

• Thorough understanding and experience with Database management and operations.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and presentation.
• Familiarity with EO/IR systems in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong networking skills to maintain and establish connections with stakeholders.
• Ability to strategize and implement optimization processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Solid knowledge of Accounting Functions and Banking Operation.
• Understanding of Compliance requirements in the manufacturing industry.
• Experience in Credit management and Customer Service.
• Proven track record in Order Fulfillment and Operations management.
• Proficiency in using D365 for various operational tasks.
• Exceptional leadership skills to steer the team towards achieving operational goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with different departments.
• Ability to work under pressure and make decisions in challenging situations.
• Problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
