We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Real Estate Closing Paralegal to assist our real estate attorneys in all aspects of the closing process. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing contracts, coordinating with lenders and real estate agents, preparing closing documents, and ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing purchase contracts and identifying any issues that require further attention
- Coordinating with lenders, real estate agents, and other parties to ensure a smooth closing process
- Preparing closing documents, including HUD-1 Settlement Statements and closing disclosures
- Conducting title searches and coordinating with title companies to obtain title insurance
- Ensuring compliance with all legal requirements and regulations
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all closing transactions
- Assisting attorneys with any other tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies is a plus.
- 2 years of experience as a Real Estate Closing Paralegal is a MUST.
- Current or previous Real Estate Closing Paralegal experience is a MUST.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in using Soft Pro and other legal research tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with real estate closing procedures and requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
