The Payroll Clerk's daily functions may consist of data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. This Payroll Clerk opportunity is a long-term contract / temporary employment role.
How you will make an impact
- Data entry into spreadsheets and the payroll system
- Build and run custom reports
- Devise a system of administering and distributing reports
- Be the main point of instruction/training contact to employees regarding payroll-related best practices
- Gather data into spreadsheets and the payroll system
- Conduct clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, etc
- Manage communications with employees on timesheet approvals
Requirements
- Prior knowledge in Payroll software
- Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well
- Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Strong familiarity with Automated Payroll
- Comprehensive knowledge of ADP Online
- Process Payroll experience
- Foundational knowledge in payroll for over 500 employees
- Well-founded grasp of Microsoft Excel
- Proven knowledge of Payroll Functions
- semi-Monthly Payrolls experience preferred
- General familiarity with Degrees Experiences
- Previous payroll experience
- Enthusiasm when it comes to learning new systems and ideas
- Great attention to detail
