A dynamic company is looking to add a Payroll Clerk to their team in the Healthcare, Hospitals, Social Assistance industry and has partnered with Robert Half to find the ideal candidate. In this position, you will be expected to support the Payroll department through a number of duties including data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. Being able to effectively communicate with both internal team members and outside customers is integral to this position. This Payroll Clerk opportunity is based in the Ann Arbor, Michigan area and is a long-term contract / temporary employment role.Your responsibilities in this role- Compile data into spreadsheets and the payroll system- Administer instruction/training to employees regarding the use of payroll-related systems including entry of timesheets, online access of pay statements, etc.- Construct and run custom reports- Reach out to employees via phone and email to obtain timesheet approvals- Compile a system of administering and distributing reports- Data entry into spreadsheets and the payroll system- Carry out clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, etc
