Robert Half Contract Finance and Accounting is looking for a Payroll Specialist to temporarily support a client in Ridgefield, WA. Our client has just shy of 200 employees and processes semi-monthly payroll via ADP Workforce Now.
Responsibilities
Checking timesheets for accuracy
Entering data into databases and spreadsheets
Handling direct deposit requests and data
Processing paper checks for distribution
Acquiring all necessary signatures to distribute payroll
Processing wage garnishments
Making adjustments in pay for raises, bonuses and commission
Requirements
Requirements
Proven experience as payroll specialist or payroll manager
Payroll software proficiency
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (V-lookups, pivot tables, etc.)
Experience with garnishments and reconciliations
High attention to detail
Good multitasking abilities
Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices
High school diploma or equivalent; BSc/BA in business, accounting or relevant field is a plus
Salary : $30 - $35
