Robert Half is partnering with a company in the staffing industry to hire a Payroll Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to join a dynamic organization that gives back to the community. This is an in office position in Denver, so applicants must live in Colorado or be willing to relocate. Responsibilities of the Payroll Manager:
- Manage the full-cycle payroll process, including processing bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of employee payroll, benefits, and tax information.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll regulations and reporting requirements.
- Manage and maintain accurate payroll records and reports.
- Review and reconcile payroll transactions, including W-2s, 941s, and other tax forms.
- Develop and maintain payroll policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure accurate and timely information sharing.
Requirements
Requirements for the Payroll Manager position:
- 5 years of full cycle payroll experience
- Multi-state payroll experience
- MS Excel (pivot tables, v lookups)
- Experience supervising or training on payroll (you will be supervising/leading 3 people)
