Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee payroll processes for 500 employees
- Handle payroll mapping tasks and ensure accurate payment distribution
- Use Paycor payroll software to facilitate effective payroll processes
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and address any related issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and standards
- Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and in a timely manner
- Operate independently, taking initiative to rectify any payroll-related problems
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) standards
- Utilize skills in Full Cycle Payroll to manage all aspects of payroll processing
- Apply knowledge of payroll compliance in the manufacturing industry to ensure all practices meet legal requirements
- Solid experience in managing payroll for 500 employees in a manufacturing environment
- Must hold a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation
- Proficient in full cycle payroll process
- Should be a Payroll Compliance Professional
- Experience in processing bi-weekly payroll
- Familiarity with payroll systems and best practices in manufacturing industry
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Strong communication abilities, with an eye for detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information
- Proficient in MS Office and payroll software
- Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships across the company
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations relating to payroll processing
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
