Robert Half is looking for a FULLY REMOTE Payroll Clerk for a temporary opportunity with a fast-growing team! In this role, you will support the Payroll department you will be responsible for reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. You should have the ability to communicate effectively with both the internal team and outside customers.

- Process multi-state (40 ), weekly and bi-monthly payroll
- Interpret, process, and maintain employee deductions (levies, garnishments, etc.)
- Responsible for calculation of payment and reconciliation of all terminations within
- Assist with reconciliation of periodic, quarterly, and annual tax filings
- Assists with payroll audits (Workers’ Compensation, 401(k), EEOC, Annual Financials
- Create and upload payroll and benefits journal entries
- Coordinate with the HR team on payroll updates
- Understand proper taxation of employer and employee paid benefits
