We are in search of an Accounting Assistant to join our team in the Healthcare/NHS sector, situated in Palm Springs, California, United States. This role encompasses a variety of tasks including creating purchase orders, maintaining spreadsheets, and interacting with vendors. This position offers a contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities:• Creating and processing purchase orders as required• Handling and directing incoming phone calls efficiently• Maintaining and updating spreadsheets with the necessary data• Effectively communicating with vendors, staff, or administration regarding purchasing inquiries or updates• Processing purchase order requests and working with invoice and purchase order exceptions in our systems• Issuing pay lines in IMMS and maintaining all special purchase orders for the hospital to ensure accurate receipts• Utilizing Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and email software for various accounting functions• Entering vendor invoices into the system accurately and timely• Undertaking other duties that may be assigned as needed.
