The Purchasing Assistant will play an integral role in ensuring efficient operations within our team.Responsibilities:• Handle the creation of purchase orders • Attend to phone calls as needed• Maintain and update spreadsheets regularly• Manage the processing of purchase order requests• Maintain regular communication with vendors through calls and emails• Liaise with vendors, staff, and administration to answer purchasing queries or provide updates• Undertake the processing of purchase orders and manage invoice and purchase order exceptions in our systems• Issue pay lines in IMMS and maintain all special purchase orders for the hospital ensuring accurate receipts• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team's needs.
