We are looking to incorporate a Purchasing Coordinator into our team in the Energy/Natural Resources industry, located in MT LEBANON, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage with various teams and manage customer orders in a dynamic environment. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.Responsibilities:• Processing customer orders received via phone, email, and fax meticulously and promptly• Reviewing customer purchase orders for specifications, addresses, payment terms, etc., ensuring accuracy• Updating data files with relevant changes such as price changes or product formula modifications• Entering orders into our customized legacy software• Interacting with plant personnel to coordinate orders and track shipments• Collaborating with outside sales teams to manage orders and address issues• Maintaining spreadsheets regarding internal sales as required• Composing, formatting, and typing business communications, including customer bids, quotations, and purchase orders to vendors• Conducting phone contacts to supplement outside sales team as needed• Organizing files related to the above duties.
