Quality Assurance Specialist

A leading aviation company in Van Nuys, CA is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team immediately. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance processes and procedures to uphold the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance across all aspects of our operations. For more information, please call 818-703-8818Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards in compliance with regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and company objectives.Conduct regular audits and inspections of operational processes, facilities, equipment, and documentation to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance, to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.Establish and maintain comprehensive documentation and records related to quality assurance activities, including audit findings, corrective actions, and performance metrics.Provide training and guidance to employees on quality assurance processes, procedures, and regulatory requirements to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.Monitor and analyze data and performance indicators to identify trends, assess risks, and drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies, auditors, and external stakeholders to facilitate inspections, audits, and certifications, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis to identify systemic issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Stay informed of industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends in quality assurance and aviation safety to ensure continuous improvement and compliance with evolving standards.Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager or senior leadership.
