We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Semarchy SME to join our team and provide expertise in Semarchy's xDM platform. As a Semarchy SME, you will be responsible for understanding and implementing the Semarchy xDM solution, working closely with stakeholders to define requirements, and delivering data management solutions that meet business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for Semarchy xDM platform within the organization. Stay up to date with the latest features and capabilities of Semarchy xDM.
- Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, data architects, and developers, to gather requirements for data management and data governance initiatives. Analyze requirements and provide recommendations based on best practices and Semarchy xDM capabilities.
- Solution Design and Implementation: Design and implement data management solutions using Semarchy xDM platform. Configure data models, business rules, workflows, and user interfaces to meet business requirements and ensure data quality.
- Data Governance and Master Data Management: Implement data governance strategies and practices using Semarchy xDM. Define data models, relationships, and hierarchies to establish master data management capabilities.
- Integration and Data Exchange: Collaborate with development teams to integrate Semarchy xDM with other systems, databases, and data sources. Implement data exchange mechanisms and APIs to ensure seamless data flow between systems.
- Training and Documentation: Provide training and support to end-users on Semarchy xDM usage, features, and best practices. Create comprehensive documentation, including user guides and system configurations, to facilitate knowledge sharing and smooth system adoption.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Assist in troubleshooting issues related to Semarchy xDM implementation, data quality, and data governance. Collaborate with technical teams and Semarchy support to resolve any issues and ensure system stability.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices related to data management, data governance, and master data management. Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose enhancements to Semarchy xDM implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Semarchy SME or in a similar role, working with Semarchy xDM platform.
- Strong knowledge of data management principles, data governance, and master data management concepts.
- Experience in implementing Semarchy xDM solutions, including data modeling, business rules, workflows, and user interfaces.
- Familiarity with data integration and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Excellent understanding of data quality and data profiling techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions using Semarchy xDM platform.
- Experience in training end-users and creating comprehensive documentation.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Semarchy xDM certification(s) are highly desired.
- Familiarity with other data management and integration tools is a plus.
