We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant in La Jolla, California. This role involves an array of accounting tasks and responsibilities within the industry, requiring a keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills. You will be working closely with financial data, ensuring its accuracy and compliance with the regulatory standards.Responsibilities:• Contribute to the preparation of journal entries, including deferred rent, prepaid rent, and accounts payable accruals, among others.• Maintain and update reconciliation schedules for balance sheet accounts.• Manage treasury functions such as daily positive pay, daily banking, and maintaining account balances.• Participate in the month-end and year-end closing process, assisting in the preparation of financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger.• Perform analysis and reconciliation of general ledger accounts, identifying issues and contributing to the development and implementation of solutions.• Assist in team SOP preparation as requested.• Continually evaluate, document, and maintain general ledger records in accordance with firm policies and generally accepted accounting principles.• Create ad hoc reports and account analysis as needed.• Contribute to process efficiency improvements to achieve financial results.• Perform other duties as required by management.
Salary : $85,000 - $100,000
