The innovative team at Robert Half is in need of a Senior Accountant with terrific experience and know-how for a short-term contract / temporary opportunity. Working as a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for a bank reconciliations project. This Senior Accountant opportunity is located in the Las Vegas, Nevada area and will offer a great you a great professional experience along with attractive compensation. The Senior Accountant will work closely with the Controller and CFO on closing out the year, clearing up a back log of reconciliations and potentially assisting with supporting documentation for an audit.
Your responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
- Participate in various department-wide initiatives
- An endless desire to improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
- Other projects as required
- Compose Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Requirements
- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are desired
- Wide ranging experience with Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation
- Solid understanding of US GAAP
- Highly organized and self-motivated
- A strong track record of communicating, both verbally and in writing, with functional department managers
- 5 years of overall general accounting experience
- The ideal candidate will be highly skilled with exceptional analytical, quantitative and social skills
- Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
