Robert Half is partnering with a construction company who has been in business for over 60 years! Our client is looking for a Sr. Accountant due to growth and offers an amazing culture and GREAT work/life balance (40-hour work week).
Responsibilities:
- Generate accurate and timely Profit & Loss statements to reflect the financial performance of the company
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data
- Manage the month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, and variance analysis
- Analyze financial statements to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement
- Assist with the preparation and analysis of budgets and financial forecasts to support strategic planning
- Maintain and update records of capital assets, including acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation calculations
- Prepares and submits annual 1099 forms
- Processes ACH transactions for payments and transfers
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- A minimum of 3 years relayed accounting experience in construction or property management
- Yardi experience HIGHLY preferred
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
