What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Data Center Network Engineer position at Robert Half?
We have a great opportunity for someone who has a strong interest in networking hardware and software. Candidates who are well versed in interfacing, security, Internet protocols and server and network infrastructure will be a great fit for this position. This role will be onsite 5 days/week at our client's Austin based Data Center.
What you get to do every day:
- Collaborate with vendors, clients, carriers and technical staff on the implementation, optimization and ongoing management of networks
- Deliver high-level support and technical expertise in networking technology like hardware, hubs, bridges and routers
- Develop enterprise data, voice, and video networks through the use of traditional and creative methods
- Ensure a secure transfer of data to various locations via internal and external networks
- Establish and operate network test facilities
Salary : $140,000 - $150,000
