This Senior Financial Analyst consultant role will our client's primary point of contact for all financial issues, including project spending, planning, forecasting and annual budgeting. In this Senior Financial Analyst consultant role, you will perform analysis of the operating results and financial performance of core business segments supporting public reporting requirements, and provide decision-making support for future company investments. This Senior Financial Analyst will be placed at the Red Wing, Minnesota office.
Responsibilities
- Offer assistance for ad-hoc analysis and presentation requests as necessary
- Capable of communicating updates to senior management, analyzing financial results, and distilling/synthesizing key issues in the course of advancing existing management reporting
- Coordinate with Operations and Accounting to discreetly and accurately track financial results in order to drive improved management reporting
- Provide management reporting, accounting and compliance guidance, and ensure alignment of operational initiatives by working closely with the Functional leads
- Evaluate financial results, summarize key trends, assess current and future business risks, and communicate critical updates all in the course of preparing monthly and quarterly reporting to senior leadership
- Cultivate positive relationships with key business partners and Finance/Accounting leadership
- Help create sustainable business, operational, and financial processes to be understood by all necessary teams
- Optimize business performance by identifying and executing financial analysis
Requirements
- Well-versed in office systems, reporting software, databases and other BI tools recommended
- Expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint
- Foundational knowledge in Analytical Skills
- Earlier work involving Expense Reporting
- Practical knowledge of Quarterly
- Wide ranging experience with forecasting
- Solid understanding of e-Commerce Application
- Planning experience
- Solid understanding of Business Unit
- Quality experience with Perform Ad Hoc Financial
- Experience with Annual Budget
- Skills in financial analysis
- Well-founded grasp of budgeting
- Hands-on experience with variance analysis
- Previous experience working with Financial Notes
- Templates experience required
- Knowledge of marketing
- Solid understanding of reporting
