Leading manufacturer located in the King of Prussia/Wayne is looking to staff a Senior Accountant – Master Data with proven experience maintaining general ledger master data. This candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing and researching data to better improve the organization’s ERP systems, assist with cost accounting, maintain and sync client database, oversee acquisitions and conversions, and keep training documentation up to date. The successful candidate for this role will have sharp analytical skills, excellent time management abilities, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
· Maintain an updated ERP system
· Develop a consolidated reporting structure
· Support of tax, revenue recognition, liabilities and other financial functions
· Maintain fixed assets
· Monitor centralized inbox
· Ad hoc research projects
· Perform account reconciliation
· Ensure compliance with GAAP
· Prepare cash flow analysis reports
Requirements
The ideal Senior Accountant – Master Data will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
Other requirements for the Senior Accountant – Master Data role include and are not limited to:
· 5 years of accounting experience
· Proficient Microsoft Office Suite, Excel
· SAP highly preferred
· Public Accounting experience a plus
· Solid technical skills
