- Allocate and prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis reports for management
- Participate in various department-wide initiatives
- Present Balance Sheet account reconciliations
- Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
- Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. and present analysis in a clear manner
- Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
- Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external
- Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary
- Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support on special requests when necessary
Requirements
- Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
- Prior work done in public accounting is desired
- 3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
- Exceptional time management skills preferred
- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
- Skilled with ERP systems
- High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills
- Strong communication and social skills
- Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines
- Experience with forecasting
- Proficiency in Intercompany Transaction
- SOX experience preferred
- General familiarity with general ledger
- Practical knowledge of Process Improvement
- Well-founded grasp of reconciliations
- Expertise in Review Invoices
- Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)
- Proven knowledge of Review Journal Entries
- Self-starter and strong ethical standards
- Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
