Robert Half is looking for a Senior Accountant for a short-term contract / contract opportunity. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, YARDI VOYAGER, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. This fully remote Senior Accountant opening is located in the Thousand Oaks, California area and will offer you great experience, strong compensation, and an attractive benefits package. Responsibilities - Operate with business partners to create compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests - Prepare reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts - Implement monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP - Analyze financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics) - Prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting - Arrange quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors - Constantly improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process - Be a part of various initiatives spanning multiple departments - Ad-hoc projects as required
